ROI - Rules Of Integrity

Gaining wisdom is an essential step in becoming a strong leader.

King Solomon is widely regarded as one of the wisest men in history - his book of Proverbs provides incredible insight into gaining and using wisdom.

Regardless of whether or not you are a person of faith it is hard not to be amazed by how relevant words, written thousands of years ago, are today.

If you do not believe me, take a look at the few lines below to see how relevant they are:

- A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered.

- He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.

- The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.

- A mocker resents correction; he will not consult the wise.

- The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.

- He who ignores discipline despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding.

- Every prudent man acts out of knowledge, but a fool exposes his folly.

- A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps.

There are 31 chapters in the book of proverbs, I try to read one chapter per day. On the first day of the month I will read chapter one, and so on.

Not every verse or chapter will be immediately relevant to your job, but an amazing number of them will be.

Bookmark this page and come back each day for some timeless wisdom.
